Excursion to one of the Seven Wonders!

Agra, one of the most attractive tourist destinations because of its many splendored Mughal era buildings, most notably The Taj Mahal- One of the Seven Wonders of the world, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, is a symbolic city of love!

The trip to Agra was totally unplanned, I was in Gwalior for some official stuff, got free early in the morning and had to spend around 8-9 hours in Gwalior with nothing to do in the unknown city, I was with my cousin and trust me we are very good at planning such excursions!
So this post can be a guide for a getaway from Gwalior to Agra.

Agra is around 120 kms from Gwalior, which means a two-hour long journey if you're opting for a train. We looked up for the next available one and plunged into it!
Travelling in the General class can be the most amazing and also the most disastrous experience for you, but I enjoyed it, the weather was pleasant and luckily we got a seat. (You have to rush for seats in…

Traversing Venice of the East: Udaipur!

Placed within the Aravalli ranges, Udaipur is known as the 'Venice of the East'/ 'Kashmir of Rajasthan'. It was the capital of The Mewar Kingdom and is surrounded by beautiful and enormous lakes that are not only a tourist attraction but also a major source of water to the city. Lake City as it is famously known consists of five major lakes, namely, Fateh Sagar Lake, Pichola Lake, Swaroop Sagar, Rang Sagar and Doodh Talai Lake. This city also houses the Jaisamand Lake, the largest artificial lake in Asia.

This post aims to be your guide as to where and how you can have a great experience travelling to Udaipur!

A road trip to Udaipur is just what you need during the winters (the perfect time to be in Udaipur).
I started my road trip from Bhopal. Yeah! from the city of lakes to the lake city! Sounds fun, right? It is!

Remember the scene from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani? Where Naina says to Bunny "Jitna Bhi try Karo life mein Kuch Na Kuch to chutega hi, to Jahan Hain wah…

GOA!!!! The very first name which comes to everyone's mind when thinking of a place to travel within the boundaries of India, that too a road trip? The icing on the cake, I suppose.
This is how I saw Goa through my lens. Travelling from Pune, I took an astonishing road trip via Kolhapur and Belagavi, into the hills and down to the ocean!

Situated on the western coast, Goa is the smallest state of India. Goa is one of the most startling destinations, innumerable beautiful beaches, scenic historical monuments and a lot more to offer.

Imagine not being a part of the trip until the last 7 days and suddenly getting a call from a friend, discussing a trip planned to Goa. Yes! Like a typical Bollywood movie plot is what my story is.
Back in 2015, my friends planned a trip and I was not included as I was busy with my college schedule. But after getting the information, I could not resist but to go to Goa. Trust me, my decision wasn't wrong.
